Alpine Studio is a web design, development and software studio based in Queenstown, New Zealand.
We specialise in building websites for New Zealand trade and service businesses: the kind of operators who are excellent at their craft, but haven’t yet had a website that properly reflects that.
Joe started Alpine Studio after watching too many good NZ businesses (plumbers, builders, cafes, clinics) lose customers to competitors with nothing but a better-looking website. There’s a real gap between the quality of their work and the quality of their online presence. The studio exists to close it.

Founder and lead developer, Queenstown
Joe founded Alpine Studio and handles every project personally, from the first email to launch and the care plan after it. He builds hand-coded sites on Next.js and Cloudflare for NZ trades and service businesses, and writes the guides on the blog. He also builds custom software: dashboards, portals and internal tools. Website builds include Shotover Fencing Solutions and JTECH Solutions in Queenstown, Tūi & Chief Dog Grooming in Hobsonville, and Will J’s Workshop and Rare Rides.

Process
How a website gets built.
Ring or text
Tell us about the business and what you need. If we miss your call, we ring you back within 24 hours. Emails and forms get a reply within 24 hours too, with questions or a fixed quote.
Fixed price
One fixed price before any work starts: 50% to start and 50% on launch, or pay monthly with nothing upfront. No hourly clock-watching.
Design & build
A short brief, then mockups you approve before anything is built. Then it is hand-coded, phone first, and tested in Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge.
Launch & care
Nothing goes live without your sign-off. Bugs and breakages are on us for 30 days, then a care plan from $79 a month keeps it hosted, updated and backed up.
