Web Design for NZ Builders.
Your next client compares three builders before they ring one, and the comparison happens on your website. We build sites for builders that show the work properly, prove you can be trusted with a six-figure job, and turn weeks of research into one phone call: yours.
What You Get
- Project galleries that do the selling: real builds, photographed properly
- Trust signals up front: LBP status, Master Builders or Certified Builders membership, guarantees
- Copy written for six-figure decisions, not emergency call-outs
- Local SEO aimed at the searches builders win work from
- Enquiry forms that qualify the job: project type, timeline, budget band
- Fixed price quoted before we start. You own the domain, hosting and code.
Already have a site? The free website audit runs Google's own tests on it and gives you the report either way.
Built for How Builders Win Work
A plumber gets found in an emergency search and wins the job on the phone. A builder gets chosen slowly. Renovations and new builds are researched for weeks, shortlists get made, and partners compare notes in the evening. Your website is doing the selling that whole time, or it is quietly costing you the shortlist.
That changes what the site has to do. Emergency trades need click-to-call. Builders need proof: finished projects photographed properly, a straight account of how you work, and the credentials that make a stranger comfortable committing serious money. We build for exactly that, and we build it by hand: no templates, no page builders, and nothing between your work and the person judging it.
See the standard in the case studies, or read about the trade-focused builds they came from.
- What should a builder’s website actually include?
- A gallery of finished projects, clear pages for the work you want more of (new builds, renovations, extensions), the areas you build in, and the credentials that make a stranger comfortable: LBP status, association memberships, guarantees. Then an enquiry path that suits a big job, asking about project type and timeline rather than just a name and number. What it should not include is stock photography. One real photo of your own work beats any library image.
- We get all our work from word of mouth. Why does the website matter?
- Because the referral checks you out online before ringing. A recommendation puts you on the shortlist; the website decides whether you stay on it. When someone is about to spend six figures, a missing or dated site reads as a risk, and you lose jobs you never even hear about.
- Do you work with builders outside Queenstown?
- Yes, NZ-wide. Queenstown is home and most of our trade clients are in Otago, but the work happens over the phone and screen wherever you are, and the build is identical.
- What does a builder’s website cost?
- A fixed price agreed before we start, the same way you quote your clients. Where it lands depends on pages and features, and the honest NZ market ranges are published in the cost guide on our blog. No hourly surprises.
- Our project photos are just phone shots. Is that a problem?
- Usually not. A phone photo of a real build in good light does more work than any stock image, and part of the build is directing what to shoot and making the most of what you have. If a project deserves professional photography we will say so, and tell you what it is worth spending.
